I founded Rooted Village after answering a call to give back to the community that deeply supported me after having my first child. Parenting comes with a unique set of challenges you may not always see coming. The transition into parenthood can be an isolating time, making community support essential when it’s most needed. Rooted Village is a grassroots, non-profit committed to nurturing children and families in Plain City, Ohio, by offering family programs that provide opportunities to socialize, play, and learn. Providing support not only builds resilient families but also forms a stronger, more connected community.
With 18 years of experience in providing compassionate and educational care to children of various ages, I am a mother of two, a preschool teacher, a postpartum doula, and a newborn care specialist. I am proudly dedicated to uniting our community and creating a welcoming space for connection, including our beloved storytime events. All are welcome here.
